Reverse Ezekiel choke
- Start Side control with gable grip behind the head
- Hip switch
- step over to go to full mount
- Opponent will have arm across throat, move arm through so it’s on the side of your face
- Lean forward and down so your head is by opponent’s shoulder
- Windshield wiper other leg (that didn’t step over) to other side and slide off
- Get low, push opponents head farther into your bicep
- Finish by flexing your bicep and turning your head towards your opponent’s head
Variation: the opponent turns away from you after Step 6
- push arm around opponent’s neck through and grab lapel
- Arm not grabbing bicep forms fist and pushes against opponent’s head
- Spoon opponent and choke, you can put one foot on hip for leverage
Escape (starting after Step 6, the variation can counter this if opponnent is fast enough):
- Kick leg closest to opponent up in the air and grab your hands around it with S-grip
- Swing leg down and make yourself turn and scoot away from opponent
- Turn facing the opponent
- Slip head out from under opponent’s arm
