Side Control and Your Arm Is Not Under The Head, But Past It.

  1. Get arm that is farther away from opponent’s head to go under oponent’s armpit/arm and pull their chest to yours
  2. Head should telephone upper part of their arm for control
  3. Other arm should look for opponent’s other arm and push it away so you can pin their arm with your leg
  4. Place your other leg over your leg and windshield whiper one leg on, and one leg off
  5. Spin around so you are in a north-south position, one leg should be pinning the arm, other leg should be out posted perpendicular to opponent, and arm still around opponent’s arm
  6. Bring outward leg in, either knee to floor along opponent’s back or slightly up at an angle
  7. Wrap other arm around opponent’s arm, original arm grabs your wrist and newly wrapped arm will grab your own wrist
  8. Finish by twisting arm (there is a variant of pushing opponent’s arm to the ground then twisting)
