Alternative: Rear Naked Choke
- If they are rear naked choking, use both hands to grab the arm that is about to go behind your head and stuff it in your armpit and fall to that side
Alternative: Seatbelt
- fall the side of their lower/under arm
- Get your head on the mat
- Use your legs to turn yourself and get your shoulder’s flat on the mat so you’re facing up
- Start facing them
- Use your elbow to create space in between your body and theirs
Alternative: Opponent does nothing
- Step over to full mount
Alternative: Opponent goes on their elbow and attempts to mount you
- Place a hand on their knee that is about to mount you, and snake away and establish a guard
