Be in full guard and opponent’s hands are on you

  1. Bring your hands in between the opponent’s hands
  2. Use legs to push opponent towards you and bring your hands out from the center to make opponent’s both hands post to the side
  3. Use one hand to grab behind the head to keep their posture down
  4. Use the other hand to grab across the back of their head to their armpit or around the shoulder, you can release head grip after
  5. Shift you hip to the side (side of hand grabbing arm)
  6. Put foot on opponent’s hip (foot that is on the same side of the arm grabbing the shoulder/armpit)
  7. Straighten up so your shoulder’s are away from opponent (making space to bring your knee up)
  8. Pull other foot out

Alternative: Opponent traps your foot with their arm as you pull it out

  1. Grab opponent’s wrist, straigten out your leg and move their arm around your leg to their chest to free your leg
  2. Wrap around opponent’s head
  3. Grab shin with one hand and lock triangle, and with the other either grab under arm, or leg
