Opponent is in butterfly

  1. Grab their ankles with your hands and get them on their back so their legs are in the air (if not already)
  2. Sit on their legs such that their ankles are between their legs and their knees arond your stomach
  3. Lean forward and put your head on their side a little above their hips
  4. Kick leg back, get hip bone to the mat and free yourself from the hook, if unable to free the hook, you can reach down/around the legs and hold onto their foot before kicking out
  5. Bring leg back shoving the leg that was hooking across your stomach
  6. Sidle off the other leg, smashing/crushing it to the ground to get side control Variant, Shoving knee in between your legs
  7. Use elbow to shove their knee in between your legs
  8. Base Switch to get your hip to the ground and bring other leg forward to get side control
