Half Guard Sweep:
- You are in half guard and on your side
- Use your outer leg to snake out sleightly to make space and insert your knee in that created by opponent’s hip and your body
- Establish a knee shield
- Connect your elbow to the inside of your knee doing the knee shield
- Brin g knee down which will create space for your elbow to be and underhook opponent’s body
- you can then perform a butterfly sweep
Alternative: opponent Wizards your underhook (they overhook your shoulder)
- Swim your wizarded arm around and grab opponent’s wrists
- Grab under the opponent’s leg with other hand
- Roll across your buttcheeks/lower back
