Turtle reverse omoplatta:
- Position yourself behind opponent’s turtle
- Get to the side of the opponent
- Using your inner leg, slice your knee in between opponnent’s leg and arm (so if you were side by side it’d be the closest leg towards the opponent)
- Pry opponent’s arm away from your leg slightly if needed
- using your other leg, step over the arm and drag it back and trap it
- Roll forward, this will force your opponent to roll as well
- Make sure your leg is holding their arm very tightly
- Use the arm closest to opponent to post on their far side and get your elbow on their armpit to prevent them from turning
- Step/scoot back with your leg not trapping the arm
- Sit up and tilt your hips forwards to finish
Turtle defense against collar choke: Oppnent makes a mistake and initially tries to grab lapel under your arm
- Your cross hand should grab opponent’s hand/sleeve
- Your other arm should pinch
- Roll towards the arm your trapped
- Get your elbow on the other side of opponent
- Square up and maintain side control
Collar Choke Back take Response to Roll: If you make the mistake and opponent does the roll defense
- Get your knee in between side of opponent’s leg and arm
- From across opponent’s back, try and sneak under opponent’s arm and grab lapel
- this is a mistake you should FIRST grab the collar lapel from the neck over the shoulder
- When opponent traps the arm and attempts to roll, get your knee on that side
- When the roll happens opponent should fall on your lap and you’re holding opponent’s collar
- Get one foot across opponent’s belly
- Get other foot to break opponent’s grip and trap it, then cross ankles
